Athlete Development
At Widefield WC, we focus on developing young athletes to be the best they can be, both as wrestlers, and future adults.
We will match your child or teen up with practice partners who will push them to be better. We have a very experienced coaching staff that is focused on helping your child be the best they can be.
Our club is a family. The parents support each other and pull for every member of our team. Our kids form lasting friendships and learn what teamwork and sportsmanship are all about.

Developing Young Wrestlers Together
At Widefield Wrestling Club, we develop young athletes in the Colorado Springs area to reach their full potential and compete at a high level. If your child has a more casual approach to wrestling and is just looking to stay in shape during the off-season for another sport, or is just looking to see if wrestling is the right sport for them, we have a spot for them as well.

Wrestling Development Programs
We nurture young athletes, transforming them into high-level competitors through dedicated training and mentorship.
Elementary Age Training Sessions
These sessions start with teaching fundamentals that will serve your child for their entire wrestling career. We will then move to skills development, technique refinement, and building good sportsmanship and a competitive spirit.
Middle School+ Age Training Sessions
Experienced coaches provide personalized guidance to help athletes excel in competitions and reach their potential. In these sessions we begin training more advanced techniques, building strength and conditioning, and developing a wrestling mindset.
Join our community to experience the passion of wrestling and develop lifelong skills through sport.

Reviews
Hear from our satisfied young athletes and their families about us.
In 2024, our 6th grader walked onto a wrestling mat at Watson Middle School for the first time ever. After watching him, we were approached by a few Widefield Wrestling coaches to see about the possibility of joining the wrestling club. A few months later my son made 5th place at the CO state Championships. This club has changed our whole family, not just on the mat, but with friends that have become family.
